MOLN Nurse Leaders Advocate at 2026 Day on the Hill

Nurse leaders from across Minnesota gathered at the Capitol on April 9 for the Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing (MOLN) Day on the Hill—an annual opportunity to engage directly in the legislative process and advocate for the nursing profession.

Throughout the day, participants connected with legislators and policymakers to discuss key healthcare priorities, share frontline perspectives, and reinforce the critical role nursing leadership plays in shaping health policy. Events like Day on the Hill provide a powerful platform for nurses to ensure that decisions impacting patient care and the healthcare workforce are informed by real-world experience and expertise.

In addition to advocacy efforts, the event fostered meaningful connections among nurse leaders from diverse practice settings across the state. These conversations continue to strengthen collaboration and support a unified voice for nursing leadership in Minnesota.

MOLN remains committed to advancing professional nursing leadership and advocating for policies that support safe, high-quality care for all. Day on the Hill is a key part of that mission—bringing nurse leaders together to influence the future of healthcare.

Thank you to all who participated and represented the voice of nursing at the Capitol.
