Offering an educational scholoarship demonstrates commitment to our MOLN goals. Its purpose is to assist MOLN members in obtaining the formal educational degrees which will advance their leadership skills and expertise. The educational scholarship programs are administered by the Professional Development Committee. MOLN will award $500 scholarships to MOLN members and RN sutdents for the purpose in 2008.

The Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing has awards for which members can be recognized and rewarded by their colleagues for contributions made to nursing in the state of Minnesota.

The College Network Educational Scholarship Award
– $3000 available –
Helping working adults—and nurses in particular—enhance their skills and expertise through education is what The College Network (TCN) is all about.
That’s why we’re proud to be an affiliate member of the Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing (MOLN), which is dedicated to influencing health care by advancing professional nursing leadership.
Because The College Network is passionate about nursing education, we’re donating $3,000 toward the MOLN scholarship fund for members who have chosen to advance their education.
The following scholarship funds are available:
*$3,000 to MOLN members who are pursuing their degree with the help of TCN through one of its partner universities
*amounts to be divided amongst scholarship winners.

Scholarship awards will be distributed at the discretion of the MOLN scholarship committee during the 2008 Fall Conference in Grand Rapids, MN from October 1-3.
